Dear Oscar you have almost guessed ,it's portrait of K.R. Pobedonostsev (1903):o)

Laurent you guessed!:oD
I love this portrait because the character of the person is already visible. As visible as stroke of paint-brush.:o)

Konstantin Petrovich Pobedonostsev (Константин Петрович Победоносцев in Russian) (May 21, 1827 - March 23, 1907) was a Russian jurist, statesman, and thinker. Usually regarded as a prime representative of Russian conservatism, he was the gray cardinal of imperial politics during the reign of his disciple Alexander III of Russia.
