Oh, yes, Levitan! I have been in love in his art for years. Some bad MF has stolen my album issued by "Iskusstvo". I bought in Russian Book store many years ago (we had those, and I wish they'd come back; half of my art library has been bought there). I remember reading about his life in great K. Paustovski (I think, but not sure) book about Russian painters. Hard times it was, but very romantic. I remember I wanted to die early age like them. But then I realized I did not manage to leave enough art, so I have to live longer ;)
